paulc

You'd prob be ok on 45s, your car aint lowered is it?
klunker

I'm thinking of putting on 45's on mine the next time as my teeth have been loosened enough due to the roads being fe@kin shi!te.

I drove the hill road from Straiton to Dalmellington, then down to New Galloway on Sunday  Shocked ..........Well I say the 'road' in its lowest form.

What a disgrace, All that money in road tax and only 20% spent on the roads. It shows.  Evil or Very Mad

Sorry to Rant off on a tangent.......They should clear on standard suspension, you may chaff the back if you have three heavies in the back.
D

Yep and 19% of that money's spent in London, Engerland Evil or Very Mad
big_al

my car 215/45/17's on when i got it Wink
Big Andy

Al , you would have had 225/45/17 tyres as standard m8 . Putting 45's on a classic will knock the speedo raiting out as the rolling radius will difer from standard .

Know where your coming from Klunker the Newton Stewart to Girvan road is a disgrace too just now, full of pot holes which the council have tried to patch with cold tar & the result is that the tar end up  all over your car & out of the hole!!! Evil or Very Mad

Getting back to this topic i have 215/45/17 on my scoob. Smile
divits

I had 215/45/17 on the wagon and had 4 adults plus luggage up to the roof and they never scrubbed once  Very Happy

The ONLY profile on a 17" rim for a classic should be 205/45/17 or 215/40/17 NOT 215/45/17 as this size is for the newage wrx's and not classic's.
peter.p&j
